About Me
My name is Sofia Andersson and I'm a CAD Technician/drafter and artist based in the San Diego area. I hold an Associates in Mechanical Design from Mira Costa College and certificates of Proficiency in Solidworks, AutoCAD, 3D Modeling and prototyping. I hope to turn my passion for design and sculpting into a full-time career as a Product Design Engineer. With my education in Mechanical Design and my background in client and customer service my goal is to provide clients with superb products and seamless communication throughout the design process. I've worked in escrow for almost 10 years but my passion for art, sculpting and design led me to pursue higher education in 2022. I aim to use CAD and 3D modeling to streamline the process of designing and creating so I can practice product production in a more practical, precise, and efficient way.
I'm very interested and always looking for work opportunities and projects that let me further my skills as an engineer, drafter and artist by utilizing these various CAD software programs.
